Please join us at the Our Path to Peace: An Intrafaith Dialogue and Action to Stop the Violence Technical Assistance Day. The purpose of this day to get a diverse group of experts from across San Francisco Bay Area together to help shape and support the Our Path to Peace Project that will be launched in April. We hope to achieve this purpose by:

  • giving an overview of the Our Path to Peace Project;
  • getting specific feedback and next steps for the program plan, how to take the project public, outreach, media involvement, and definitions;
  • securing personal commitments to carry the work collaboratively forward.

The goal of the project is to transform communities into spaces of public peace.

The outcomes of the project are:

  • To open dialogue on what faith means to people and how that relates to peace;
  • To utilize art forms to connect violence-impacted communities to resources through collectively creating representations of people’s pluralistic identities and personal resources;
  • To raise public awareness of resources that promote peace in violence-impacted communities through displaying ropes throughout the community and getting local media coverage at local events;
  • To celebrate project completion by bringing people together to share personal narratives on faith, peace, and service;
  • To inspire ongoing public peace efforts.
